Since its formation in 1992, The New Albany Chorus has delighted audiences throughout the central Ohio area with the magic of music! The 30 voice mixed chorus performs a wide variety of music, from standards to pop to rock with infectuous enthusiasm and indelible style.

The NAC is a virtual living collage, with members ranging in age from teens to octogenarians, hailing from nine different central Ohio communities and all walks of life, whose common bond is the joy of singing!

Performance venues have included festivals, private parties, business and civic open houses, retirement villages, Capitol Holiday Lights, First Night Columbus, Columbus Arts Festival, Ashland Summer Concert series, Gahanna Creekside and Westerville Art in the Park, to name a few.  We've performed indoors and out, hot weather and cold, in sunshine and rain, in concert halls and cattle barns!

The New Albany Chorus is a year-round program funded, in part, through member and business donations to The New Albany Arts Council.  Rehearsals are held September through June, with our season culminating annually with our Concert on the Commons the last Sunday in June.  Singers interested in joining this group should contact its director, Kathy Mayhorn, at kathy@naarts.org
