The New Albany Arts Council Broadway Beginners workshop is a 6-week program for children ages 6-8. The purpose of this workshop is to introduce young actors to the basics of performing in a musical. Through ice breakers, warm-ups, games and other exercises, participants will learn the basics of musical theater vocal techniques, minimal choreography, and how to work together as an ensemble.

The workshop culminates in a short performance for friends and family during the last 30 minutes of the final workshop, followed by a reception with light refreshments.

Workshop participants will receive a T-shirt (that they will wear during the performance), a script and learning CD. For more information, contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Our next session begins on Saturday, January 20th!

Our hosts, Jack and Jackie Frost have just finished renovating Winter's Wonderland, a fabulous North Country resort originally built by Old Man Winter. Their staff the Frostbites, are busily getting everything ready for the grand reopening festivities (singing as they clean, of course). Guests start to arrive, but sadly, there's just no snow! Everyone is getting anxious, especially little Sunny Holliday who has never experienced the wonderful white stuff. At last, the final special guest,Old Man Winter arrives-and with him the much anticipated precipitation.

Rehearsals every Saturday from January 20th through February 24th (9:30am – 11:00am) Church of the Resurrection Ministry Center • 6300 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Performance February 24th at 10:40am.
